I actually think this is the best Redwall book that I've read yet. The chapters are short for the most part, so it's much easier to read a lot of chapters at once and not get bored like with other Redwall books. There's a lot more action than the other two Redwall books that I've read (Rakkety Tam and Martin the Warrior) and there are tons of characters to appreciate. Although at the end of the book I found that I was disappointed in how some ends were tied and some that weren't tied at all (like Lousewart and Sneezewart, at the end of the book I really wondered what happened to them) but other than that it's really hard to see this as anything less than one of the best Redwall books there is.
