This was my favorite of all the books and Grath is my all time favorite character. It is a great adventure of an otter maid who's family was killed by sea vermine searching for the lutra's greatest possecions, the Lutra pearls. When she is well she, Grath Lutra, seeks revenge. Grath later meets up with Martin II (Mattimeo & Tess' son), log-a-log, his crew and Cynthia bankvole who stowed away in the boat after being told to go back to Redwall. They were on a quest to find the boat that once stole the abbot and once held Cynthia aboard as a prisoner. Later they meet Inbar Longfletch and he and Grath find themselves perfect for eachother. I will not tell you anymore if I do I will tell you the whole story but I highly recommend this book.
