This is my favorite book of the series. It has everything. I think it's great how it covers the adventures of three different groups of characters that eventually meet up and band together to triump against their evil foe who threatens to capture Salamandastron.

p.s. Today one of my friends said that the Redwall series was child's fantasy. I would like to say that HE IS COMPLETELY WRONG AND THAT HE IS A BLOOMIN' COWARD, A BLINKIN' CAD, AND THAT HE IS A BLOODY WANKER WHO OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT KNOW GOOD FICTION EVEN WHEN IT IS A HAIRSBREADTH AWAY FROM HIS BALLY NOSE. HE IS CONSPICUOUSLY TOO PUERILE, SHORT-SIGHTED, AND HALF-WITTED TO IDENTIFY SUCH WORKS OF BRILLIANCE BY AN INDISPUTABLE GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-
